All our products are at least second-hand and may therefore have signs of use here and there. These generally provide more charm and cachet. In case of larger and / or disturbing defects, we will mention this with the article.

We do our utmost to display the items as realistically as possible, but it is possible that, for example, the colors differ slightly from the photo.

We only have one of all our items, unless otherwise stated in the description of the item in question.

Shipping of furniture and, for example, large masterpieces is possible, pick up is also possible.

Still not completely happy with the purchase? Returns are allowed within 14 days of receipt of the order. As soon as we have received the item in good condition, you will receive a refund from us. Send us a message for further processing. The costs for return shipment are for the buyer.

Article 1. When you order products from Curio stills, you declare that you agree with all provisions of these General Terms and Conditions. Article 2. Prices All prices of our products are in euros and include 21% VAT. For delivery costs abroad we charge a surcharge on the standard delivery costs. We ship within the Netherlands with PostNL. The shipping costs depend on the product and vary from 6.95 to 13.25 per product. Unfortunately, not all items can be delivered. If no delivery costs are charged at checkout, the product must be picked up. This must be done within 14 days of ordering, unless otherwise agreed. For shipping abroad or delivery in another way, you can contact us without any obligation. Prices and other information stated in the webshop are subject to changes. Returns are at the buyer's expense. Article 3. Order confirmation The order confirmation is not a proof of payment, but only a notification that the order procedure has been successful and we have received your order. Article 4. Payment All ordered products are delivered after payment of the invoice. Products paid by bank transfer will be reserved for you for 7 days. If the payment is not received by us after 7 days, we will cancel the order without notice. For international payments a transfer can be made using our international bank account code (IBAN). Additional bank charges for international transactions are the buyer's responsibility. Article 5. Delivery time The standard delivery time of our products is 2 – 5 working days. In some cases, the delivery time can be 6 – 8 days. If the delivery period is more than 30 days, you have the right to cancel the order. We will always inform you as soon as possible if the delivery period is exceeded. If the buyer wishes to cancel the order, the purchase amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but at the latest within 30 days. Article 6. Delivery and shipping costs All prices mentioned are exclusive of delivery or shipping costs. For delivery costs for both home and abroad, please contact us. The shipping costs depend on the product and range from € 6.95 for parcels up to 10 kilos and € 13.25 for parcels up to 30. Unfortunately, not all our products can be delivered. The full purchase amount must be paid before the product is delivered or can be picked up, unless other arrangements have been made by email. Curio stills is not responsible for any damage caused by the transport of third parties or the customer's own transport. We always pack the furniture and accessories with great care. However, it can happen that something is damaged during the shipping process via the carrier. We ship everything at the risk of the customer. Article 7. Defects The customer is obliged to check immediately upon receipt whether the order complies with the agreement. Returns due to defects are subject to the following conditions: 7.1 Defects to the articles that do not reasonably belong to the stated condition of the article according to the description, as stated on the Curio stills website, must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the articles , by email, stating the name of the customer, description of the defect and the order number under which the item was delivered, to be reported to Curio stills. All items are sold as offered and presented in our webshop www.curiostills.nl. We do not remove any packaging or upholstery, and/or exchange items with each other in order to partially sell them. 9.1. Vintage: By vintage we mean original articles from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. An article can only be called really vintage if it is at least 25 years old. 9.2. Retro: Retro refers to harking back to style and design from earlier years and translating it into contemporary items. However, retro is popularly used for both contemporary and 60s-70s items. We go along with this in our webshop. However, the vintage and retro items are original from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s unless otherwise stated. 9.3. Repro Items which are of later or contemporary production are referred to in our webshop as repro. 9.6. Condition vintage items 9.6.1. For all vintage items, furniture, rugs, play and game material, utensils, it mainly applies that they may have been used for many years or have been stored for years after use. The items have been used over the years in a time when quality marks, unlike the Dutch Association of Housewives, did not exist. There were no or hardly any safety requirements, material requirements and minimum user requirements and can therefore not be compared with current legislation and regulations. 9.6.2. When purchasing a vintage item, you must take into account a wear and tear. Screws that show rust, deviating and working material (wood, plastic), a bare spot and so on. You may need some repair work or an article is no longer as suitable for the use you thought you could make of it. In case of doubt and questions about the (contemporary) use of a vintage item, you can contact Curio stills without any obligation. 9.6.3. After purchase, the use of vintage items is at the buyer's own discretion and risk. Curio stills cannot be held responsible for the safety, use of vintage items and the condition of the item after use by the buyer. Article 10 Exchange 10.1. Exchanging does not apply to Curio stills because it concerns unique items that are not available in multiple sizes, colors or similar. Article 11 Questions 11.1. Each complaint will be dealt with as soon as possible and a solution to the problem will be sought together with you. Curio stills will always strive to resolve any disputes in close consultation with the customer. Article 13 Privacy Policy 13.1. Curio stills respects the privacy of its customers and therefore handles the customer's personal data as carefully as possible. 13.2. All information relating to the customer's personal data is carefully managed and stored in a database. The customer's information is only for internal use by Curio stills and will not be provided to third parties. Article 14 Applicable law and competent court 14.1. All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Conditions apply, as well as these Conditions, are exclusively governed by Dutch law. 14.2.
